You may be wondering where I've been for the past few decades (or weeks, I can't keep track).
It seems I have, quite inadvertently, been acquiring a boyfriend. Who'd have thunk?
This is Matt, also known as boyshapedthing:

Cute, huh?Okay, no, that's not him. That's just the guy he cosplays as.
Yep! I landed a cosplayer! And a damn good one, too. Kinda sort of famous (infamous) in the convention circuit. This is actual boyfriend:

Okay, in the interest of maintaining professional anonymity I'm not going to show you his actual picture. I will, however, tell you that he exists on YouTube where he plays an eccentric, egomaniacal director named Victor Juliet, the face of Fiendish Films. If you're industrious, you can maybe find him and see my boyfriend's acting chops.
Why tell you this, O my minions, when for so long I have shunned personal details?
Two reasons:
1. I HAVE A BOYFRIEND! YAY YAY YAY!!!
2. I'll probably be referencing him at some point in the future, and I don't want a bunch of questions like "who the eff is boyshapedthing" and "...Matt? Who's Matt?"
Okay, there's a third one. I lied.
3. I don't blog much when I have a relationship, apparently. This is my crappy, cop-out reason for being invisable for so long. *ducks rotten fruit and vegetables* I sorry!

Ha, now I'm wondering what that says about me, the chick with a boyfriend of almost 10 years who blogs more than she probably should given the lack of interesting... stuff.

Nice to meet the Matt boyshaped person, sort of! (You totally didn't fool me with the picture of Alucard, by the way. I is SMRT.) I'm so happy for you, and I hope you guys are having tons of fun together. But you promised me details, woman, and this doesn't qualify!
